HDFC ERGO Optima Restore vs Optima Secure: what each wording says

Both have no room limit, pay 60 days before and 180 days after a hospital stay, add 50% of the base sum insured a year up to 100% regardless of claims, and restore 100% once a year. Optima Secure adds two things Optima Restore does not have: Secure Benefit, an extra 100% of base cover each year, and Protect Benefit for items a bill normally leaves out. Optima Restore caps road ambulance at ₹2,000.

For the same base sum insured, Optima Secure's wording gives more: its Secure Benefit adds another 100% of the base sum insured each year after the base is used up, on top of bonus and restore.

Do both plans have a room-rent limit?

No. Neither wording sets a room or ICU limit in the base plan.
