Niva Bupa Health Companion: what the policy wording covers
Health Companion (UIN NBHHLIP26051V092526) has two variants in one wording. Variant 2023 caps you at a shared room and charges a 20% co-payment if you take a higher room. The plan adds 20% of the base sum insured as bonus for each claim-free year, up to 100%, and refills your cover once a year after the first paid claim. It pays 60 days before and 180 days after a hospital stay. Pre-existing diseases wait 36 months.
